Conversion Funnel
Monitor your conversion funnel directly here to see the number of inquiries vs applicants vs accepted students vs those who ultimately accept their place in the school, or those who choose to decline.
The Conversion Funnel provides a historical overview of how applicants move through the admissions process. It is designed to show the total count for all statuses a student has held within a selected academic year, rather than just their current status.
How the Funnel Works
The funnel displays the full journey of each student throughout the admissions process within the selected academic year. A single student is counted in every stage they have passed through — for example, if an applicant started the year as “Pending” and was later “Admitted,” they will appear in both the Pending and Admitted totals.
Because applicants typically move through multiple early stages (e.g., Pending → In Progress → Admitted/Declined), the numbers in the earlier stages will naturally appear higher. This is expected, as the funnel and its corresponding bar chart together represent the cumulative movement of students across different statuses.
The bar chart at the top of the funnel visually summarizes this progression, showing the total number of students who have held each status during the academic year. For instance, if 173 students had an “Applied” status and 115 of them were later “Admitted,” those 115 are also included in the 173 total — the remaining 58 will appear under other statuses that represent their eventual outcomes.
Keep in mind that the filters reflect the student’s current data, not their historical journey. For example, if you filter by Pending, the funnel will only display students who currently hold that status for the selected enrollment year.
