How to Create a New Event Type
Navigate to Settings > Admissions > Events and find the "New Event Type" button under Event Settings. Click on it to create a custom event type and set the number of bookings that you allow an applicant to have for the event type.
How to Enable the Button on the Landing Page
After you have created a custom event type and have created a new event, please click on the short cut "Landing Page Display Settings" in the top right to takes you directly to Settings > School Settings > Themes & Buttons, where you can enable and customize the button for the new event type on the landing page.
How to Add a Checklist Item for the New Event Type
In order to allow applicants and students who already exist in the system to sign up for an event, it is required that there is a relevant checklist item for them.
Navigate to Settings > Admissions > Checklist and add a new checklist item for the new event type for the relevant programs. Select "Event" for the requirement type when you add a new checklist item and select the new event type you have created from the dropdown menu. Once it is added, the checklist item is associated with the specific event type. If an existing applicant or student books an event of the specific event type, the checklist item will be marked as completed.
How to Create New Event Registration form
Navigate to Settings > Forms > Create new form. In the form editor, select Event for the Type. At this stage, the From Type at the top will display "Application" as the default type and it will be updated only after the form has been saved. You may ignore the Form Type and make sure to select Event as the Type.
You may customize the form as you wish and please make sure to keep the mandatory fields such as student's basic information and parent's basic information in the form.
You may create as many event registration forms as you need.
When you create a new event at Settings > Admissions > Events, you can choose a registration form that applies. This allows you to customize the registration form for different events.
