Via Applicant Profile
By clicking on an applicant, you can easily mark their application fee as paid by navigating to the Fees tab on their profile.
You may indicate the payment method (e.g. check, bank transfer) and the date of payment. You may also choose to send a Receipt of payment when their fee is marked as paid. Credit card payments are automatically reconciled and marked as paid.
If needed, you can edit the fee amount for an applicant, download invoice or delete a fee by using the 'action' button.
Via Payments, Reconciliation
By navigating to Payments, Reconciliation you can mark multiple applicants as paid, while indicating the payment method (e.g. check, bank transfer) and the date of payment.
Sending Payment Reminders and Receipts
You can send a Payment Reminder to an applicant with an Outstanding or Past Due invoice via the Applicant Profile. Scroll down to the Fee tab, select the fee and click on the Send Fee Reminder button.
A Payment Receipt can be generated and sent to the applicant's family when an invoice is marked as Paid. You can download a receipt via the Applicant Profile by clicking on the 'Action' icon.
Additionally, parents can view the pending invoices and paid receipts in their OpenApply account under the Invoices & Fee section.
