Accessing and Understanding the Email Error Log
The Email Error Log allows you to view a list of any emails that have failed to be delivered by the system, so that you can identify and update users with incorrect email addresses.
Click the Settings button in the top right of any page, when logged in as admin, then click Email Error Log
The Email Error Log shows the following details, for any emails that have failed to be delivered:
Name - Name of the user to whom the email was sent. Click on the user name to edit that user, to update their email address, if necessary
Role - Type of user, such as Parent or Admin
Email Address - Email address that returned the error
Error Type - Type of error, usually shows 'Can’t be delivered'
Error Detail - Detail of the error message returned by the recipient's web server. The error messages can very depending on the web server / type of email address that the email was sent to (such as gmail.com or yahoo.com)
It is also possible to Search by name or email address, to look for a specific email that was failed to be delivered.
