Creating an Export Template
Please note that users are required to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on their OpenApply account, in order to export data from the system. If you would like to enable two-factor authentication on your OpenApply account, please follow the steps in this tutorial.
Export templates can be created to help run exports that may need to be repeated or scheduled.
Navigate to Settings > Import & Export > Export to create an export template.
Drag and drop from the Available Fields column to the Export Fields column, to select the fields to be included in the export template.
It is also possible to select which Statuses and Programmes to include in the template.
Type a name for the export template in the Export Template box.
At the bottom of the page, click Create New Template to save the template.
Alternatively, click the pencil icon next to an existing template to edit that template.
Click Edit Notification to create a scheduled export for an existing template.
After clicking Edit Notification on the Export page, check the box next to the export template to schedule exports for that template.
Select the time and days when the export should be scheduled for.
Admin users can be enabled or disabled to receive scheduled exports, via Settings > Staff Directory. Click the name of the user to edit their user preferences, and check the box for Send Daily Digest Email & Scheduled Export. Click Save Changes.
