Find applicants with a broken status history

  1. On the Inquiries, Applicants, Students or Alumni roster, look for an orange warning triangle next to the applicant's name. Select the applicant to open their profile.

  2. On the applicant profile, the warning also appears under the current status. Select Fix it to open the Status Editor.

You can also select the pencil icon next to Applicant History to open the Status Editor.

If a recent status change was made in error, select Undo to roll back to the previous status.

Delete an invalid status

In the Status Editor, invalid status changes are marked with an orange warning triangle. Hover over the triangle to see why. For example, if an applicant has the Applied status twice in a row, the message reads "Applied cannot follow Applied".

To fix this example, select the trash can to delete the extra Applied status.

Reorder statuses

If status changes are in the wrong order, edit the Effective On date.

For example, if Admitted comes before Applied, set the Effective On date for Admitted to after the Effective On date for Applied.

Change the enrolment year of a status

If an applicant applied, was declined and then applied again, change the Enrolment Year of the later statuses.

For example, an applicant was Pending then Declined for 2015-16, then applied successfully for the following year. Change the Enrolment Year for the second Pending status and for the Applied status to the 2016-2017 academic year.

Add previous statuses

Select Add to insert a previous or missing status. For example, add an Admitted status between Applied and Enrolled.

You can also use Add to record statuses for previous enrolment years.

Valid status histories

For reference, these status histories are valid:
