To allow parents to use WeChat Pay, it is necessary to enable WeChat Pay. If you would like to view this tutorial in Chinese, please click here.

If you have already enabled WeChat Pay in your WeChat Service Account, you can enter the App ID, Merchant ID and API key from your WeChat Service Account into the WeChat Pay Settings in your OpenApply account via Settings > Payments.

AppID (Developer ID)

a. Navigate to Weixin Official Accounts Platform: https://mp.weixin.qq.com

b. Log in to your WeChat service account with your school's WeChat Super Administrator's credentials

c. Click on Settings and Development > Basic Settings, and you will find the AppID (Developer ID)

Mch ID

a. Log in to Weixin Pay Platform: https://pay.weixin.qq.com

b. Navigate to 账户中心 > 账户设置 > 商户信息 > 微信支付商户号 is your Mch ID

WeChat Pay API Key

a. Log in to Weixin Pay Platform: https://pay.weixin.qq.com

b. Navigate to 账户中心 > 账户设置 > API安全

c. Under 设置APIv2密钥 section, click on 设置, then you can set up your own API Key, and copy it to your OpenApply

Once you have the App ID, Merchant ID and API key, you can enter these into the WeChat Pay Settings, at Settings > Payment to enable WeChat Pay on OpenApply. Parents will then be able to make payment via OpenApply after scanning a QR code on WeChat.

If you have not enabled WeChat Pay in your WeChat Service Account yet, you need to enable it before setting up WeChat pay in your OpenApply.

Enable WeChat Pay Payment Gateways

Enable JSAPI支付, APP支付, Native支付, H5支付

a. Log in to Weixin Pay Platform: https://pay.weixin.qq.com

b. Navigate to 产品中心 > 我的产品 

c. Enable these 4 products: JSAPI支付, APP支付, Native支付, H5支付
